There won’t be any difference for football transfers between the UK and South America/Africa/Far East etc but there will have to be agreements between European Countries and the UK. I don’t see why football should be given preference over the ‘entertainment sector’ or ‘service sectors’. Picking fruit/veg is more important to most people than watching some grossly overpaid footballer kicking a ball.
